National Bank World Elite Mastercard

With National Bank World Elite Mastercard, you earn 5X points on grocery and restaurant spend, up to $2,500 per month on total spend. It also has 2X points per dollar in eligible gas and electric vehicle charging purchases, recurring bill payments. National Bank reward point is worth 1 cent per point when redeemed through the National Bank travel portal, 0.83–0.91 cents per point when redeemed against any other travel purchase charged to the card.

Although it has $150 annual fee, it provides $150 travel enhancement credit, effectively making this card zero annual fee and one of the best card to keep long-term.

MBNA Rewards World Elite Mastercard

MBNA Rewards World Elite Mastercard has 5X points not only on groceries but also on digital media, membership, and household utility purchases until $50,000 is spent annually in the applicable category. MBNA reward point is worth 1 cent per point when redeemed through the MBNA travel portal, 0.9–1.1 cents per point when redeeming for e-gift cards.

MBNA Rewards World Elite Mastercard has $120 annual fee, but each year, you will receive Birthday Bonus Point equal to 10% of the total number of points you earned in the 12 months before the month of the your birthday, to a maximum Birthday Bonus each year of 15,000 points, which can easily cover the annual fee.

Scotiabank Gold American Express Card

Scotiabank Gold American Express Card earns 6X Scene+ points for every dollar spent at participating grocery stores like Sobey’s, IGA, and Freshco; 5X Scene+ points for every dollar spent on eligible grocery stores, restaurants, fast food, drinking and entertainment purchases, to up to $50,000 spend per year. American Express Cobalt Card
